To give students fundamental tools for naturalistic drawing which they can also employ for personal or school projects.

This workshop looks at drawing as a way of seeing and thinking about the world around us. We will move
from observation to studying and implementing artistic conventions for analyzing and representing three
Throughout the workshop students will study geometric and organic shapes going from the simple to the
complex. Subject matter will range from basic geometric objects, to still life, landscape and architecture,
to figure drawing. At the same time, we will explore different media and their properties in relation to the
specific content being studied. In parallel, there will be space for more experimental exercises that move
towards perceptual and subjective interpretations, automatism and abstraction.
