About the club:
Cooking Around the World
This club will focus on cooking recipes from other countries. We will talk about different cultures and learn facts about each country, but most of our time will be spent cooking. We will focus on basic skills in the kitchen, hygiene and safety, knife skills, best practices in the kitchen.
The dishes will focus on using fresh and nutritious ingredients. Students will gain confidence in the kitchen, building on knowledge about how to wash, measure, peel, cut and cook a variety of ingredients.

Week 3: Funnel Cakes
Week 4: Pumpkin Ravioli
Week 5: Butternut Squash scones
Week 6: California Sushi Rolls
Week 7: Cake decorating for the holidays
Week 8: Giant pretzels

Materials: Ingredients and cooking tools provided. Students may wish to bring reusable containers to bring home their delicious delicacies.
