About the class:
Climbing is a sport that consists of climbing up a wall using holds that simulates real rock.
Climbing can be practiced in different forms like: sport climbing and boulder in which you solve routes of different levels of difficulty.
Climbing is a great activity, whether it be recreational or as a competitive sport, you work the entire body and mind with a focus on problem solving and self control. It is a super fun exercise thinking especially about the infinite possibilities of movements that climbing allows.
Sport climbing we practice in a secure manner with the use of harness, rope and other certified equipment that guarantee the security of the climber.
In the class we will work on general fitness, climbing technique, security norms, competition and knowledge of climbing gear.
● Climbing involves an extended variety of physical work throughout your whole body that helps develop strength and endurance.
● Climbing helps develop balance and body awareness (perception of your own body in different positions)
● Climbing implements the ability to resolve problems and enhances concentration
● Due to the calm nature of the sport climbing has showed great results as a stress reducer.
All of our activities are supervised by experienced instructors and with the use of safety certified equipment. All materials are included.
